BUY THE RIGHT CCTV DVR FOR YOU

When people think about safety, they think about ways to protect their homes and families. When it comes to the protection of homes and families, many people have begun using a 4 channel digital video recorder. This equipment allows users to record around their home or business. They can replay video and save it. It is a great tool to have for people who want to keep their homes safe.

A lot goes into the purchase of security equipment. It is never a good idea to just jump into a purchase. First and foremost, consumers must find a quality product. A security system will not do any good if it does not work properly. Consumers need to find out what measures the company takes to produce quality products. If a company does not take any measures, then the consumer needs to move onto the next place. Quality is nonnegotiable when it comes to safety equipment.

Almost as much as consumers need good quality, they also need a good price. While it is difficult to put a price on safety, it is easy to understand that certain things just cannot be afforded. There are quality gital video CCTV DVRS on the market for an affordable price. Consumers just have to know where to look for them. With certain companies, the cheaper equipment is just as good as or better than the more expensive equipment that other companies offer.

Technical support is something else that needs to be considered by new buyers. There is nothing more frustrating than buying a new piece of equipment that cannot be set up. Most people will require a technical support staff to help them install their DVR surveillance system. Consumers want to make sure that it is installed correctly, so they may have to pick up the phone and get assistance during the installation process.

While those are all of the most important considerations that must go into buying a 4 channel DVR, the ease of use of the equipment is also important. Even if technical support is offered, the equipment still needs to be something that the user can understand.

CCS-Imports has all of the things mentioned and more. They offer free technical support to their customers. They are the cheapest online vendor in the industry and offer a seven day price match guarantee. Every product is inspected before it leaves the factory, so customers can rest assured that they are getting a quality product. The company also has a vast inventory that customers can go through before making a selection. All products are incredibly easy to use. To find out more, go to www.ccsimports.co.uk

Vasu,

I think it is rather simplistic comparing the purchase price of a DVR against IP cameras, or to even suggest one product as a holistic choice.

(1) Hybrid is right for a specific instance.
(2) Analog is right for a specific instance
(3) IP is right for a specific instance
(4) Hdcctv is right for a specific instance.

Lets try and meet the customers needs, rather than try to sell a specific technology to suit all needs --- because that is what we currently have access to, or can get hold of at a competitive price.

The customers requirements will determine what is right --- it may be Hybrid, it may not!

The problem with this kind of discussion is that some-one is always trying to sell something!

There is no such thing as the right CCTV DVR for you. That starts off by implying that CCTV and or a DVR is the right solution --- but which one?

The right solution is the one that meets your security requirement, or other requirement if it isn't security related! This may or may not be CCTV! In some instances an armed body guard may be the right solution.

The criticality of the mission will determine the criteria for quality and price, hence many cheap lesser DVR's thrive in the market - and these poor quality cheap DVR's might be the right solution in many cases.

The decision as to what equipment, is the last decision ---- it follows after you have profiled your requirement. Once you have profiled your requirements, these naturally flow into a set of specifications, and that set of specifications lead to a natural choice of product - so it is hardly as complicated a decision as many make out.

The complication occurrs when sales guru's try to match a specific device to the consumers requirements, ineveitably some bending of the specifications need to be made , to fit the product into the box which the customer creates.

If you start off by defining the box first, then it's simple to choose the product which fits.
