Ok. Here is my dilemma. I have been assigned to figure out away to send video via cell phone or existing spread spectrum system. The area I am looking at doing is 60 sq miles. All installation
would be outdoors. The existing spread spectrum is 900mz, but has limited throughput of 57kbaud
Also we transmit data from remote locations on these that go through a device server so seperating
transmission is an issue. Would it be better to go with a stand alone cellular video camera that tha
end user could dial up to view or have some type of trip wire to phone end user based on event? Oh
and did I mention that it needs to be fairly inexpensive? Any and all thoughts would be welcomed

There are several IP based web servers on the market currently that will allow you to transmit via 3g using local sim cards for your provider. This would be the easy route. You can also get a 3g SIM router as well or a router with built in or attached air card from Sprint, AT&T or Verizon and transmit an IP camera. You have a bit of options here. The 3g router option should not be to expensive.
